Consistent scores by the Pella girls golf team at yesterday’s District meet was enough to secure second place in the team standings and extend the postseason for the Lady Dutch. With a combined score of 405, the Pella girls were 24 strokes behind first-place Mount Pleasant, and 14 strokes in front of third-place Washington. Shelby Williams had the lowest individual score for the Lady Dutch, with a 97, which placed her fourth overall.

The District Girls Golf Meet was hosted by Centerville and held at The Preserve Golf Course at the Honey Creek Resort on Lake Rathbun. The Pella girls play again on Monday, May 24th, when they host a substate Regional tournament at Bos Landen.
