Despite entering the season with little experience at the varsity level, the Pella girls tennis team was still able to close out an impressive dual meet season yesterday, defeating Grinnell 9-2 and clinching the Little Hawkeye Conference dual meet title. The Lady Dutch swept the Tigers in singles play, with their only losses coming at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The victory gave the Pella girls tennis team an unblemished 7-0 record in the conference this season and an overall mark of 8-0 going into Monday’s conference tournament.
