Congressman Leonard Boswell and former Iowa Governor Terry Branstad are among the political candidates expected to be in Pella Saturday for the final day of Tulip Time. Boswell, who is seeking re-election to Iowa’s 3rd District in the U.S. House of Representatives walked in Friday night’s lighted parade. Branstad, who is seeking the Republican nomination for Iowa governor, will continue a long-running tradition at Tulip Time, as he and his family will help scrub the streets before the afternoon parade.
