Republican candidate for governor Bob Vander Plaats is planning a visit to Pella early next month. Vander Plaats’ last campaign visit to the Tulip City came on February 6th. Bob Vander Plaats is among three frontrunners for the Republican nomination to face incumbent Governor Chet Culver in the November elections. He will speak to the public on Wednesday, June 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the Joan Kuyper Farver Auditorium at the Pella Community Center.
