With Friday marking graduation for the seniors of Pella Community High School, and commencement for Pella Christian having taken place last Saturday, many of those seniors will begin preparing for the next step in furthering their educations.

Pella Dollars for Scholars has again supported local graduates this year by providing $64,100 in scholarships to 145 seniors from Pella Community and Pella Christian High Schools.

The largest single scholarship granted was the Joan Farver Service Award, which this year contributed $1500 apiece toward the future educations of Alex Maasdam of Pella Community High School, and Chess Van Wyk of Pella Christian High School.
