The Marion County Board of Supervisors approved several appointments at their regular meeting Monday morning. The list includes Richard Mason’s appointment to the Commission of Veterans Affairs and the following individuals for the Development Comission John Franey for the Pleasantville area, Matthew Russell for the Melcher-Dallas area, John Jensen for the Knoxville area, Lana Pol at-large and Duane Jones for the Bussey area. Jones will be filling a term that ends June 30th of 2011 while the term for the other 5 appointees will end on June 30th of 2013.
