Temperatures in the area have gotten noticeably warmer in the past several days, and the 80-degree weather will likely stick around for a while longer. State Climatologist Harry Hillaker tells KNIA/KRLS News that while temperatures won’t stay in the mid-to-upper 80s like what we’ve been experiencing, it will still remain warmer than normal. Hillaker adds that humidity levels should begin dropping as the week continues, and expects more “typical” temperatures for this time of year to return to the area around the end of the month.
