The Iowa Farm Bureau’s Ag in the City event continues today on the square in Knoxville. A variety of free activities will be available for attendees of all ages to enjoy, including a goat milking contest, pancake breakfast, and carnival rides. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of fresh garden produce or cash to fill the chuck wagon for the Helping Hands food shelf. Farm Bureau Chairman Larry Rowley says the purpose of the event is to make people aware of how farming impacts their daily lives. The event will take place from 7am until 1pm in downtown Knoxville.
