The Knoxville City Council will hold a public hearing in regards to the General Obligation Bonds next week. The date was set Monday night during the council’s work session where they discussed priorities for the GO bond issue. City Manager Dick Schrad says the top two priorities the city has for use of the bond money is necessary improvements to Graceland Cemetery and City Hall. Other items discussed were possible roof replacement at the recreation center and the addition of usable playing fields and parking stalls near the center. The public hearing will be held during the regular city council meeting Monday night at 6:15pm in the council chambers of the Knoxville City Hall.
