City of Knoxville is Soliciting Bids for Asbestos Removal and Demolition of Residential Properties

The City of Knoxville has begun soliciting proposals for bidding of asbestos removal and demolition of 16 residential properties. Some of the properties, which are now owned by the City of Knoxville, will be sold; other possible uses include additional parking downtown and future sites for Habitat for Humanity homes. Separate bids awards will be made for each address later this month. Bids must be submitted to the City of Knoxville, Attn: Cindy Glick, 305 S. Third Street, Knoxville, Iowa 50138; by 1:00pm on June 11, 2010.
