Time is running out for area farmers and landowners to report their crop acreages. According to David Wynn and David Kastengren, Executive Directors of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency in Marion County, crop reports must be filed by Wednesday June 30th. The reports must be submitted accurately to ensure producers receive the maximum FSA program benefits possible and all crops and land uses, including prevented and failed acreage must be filed. Those who have questions about their reports are asked to call the Marion County FSA Office at 641-842-3168.
