Knoxville got its busy baseball week off to a fine start with two wins at South Tama last night. The Panthers won the first game 7-0 with Colton Spaur picking up the win. Knoxville completed the sweep with a 15-1 trouncing of the Trojans ending the game in the sixth inning due to the ten-run mercy rule. Eric Jones got the win for the Panthers in the nightcap. Knoxville plays its second varsity double header tonight at Pella. This is a make up from a previously scheduled date that got rained out.
