Knoxville Falls To Dubuque Wahlert At State Soccer Tournament

Knoxville fell to top seed Dubuque Walhert yesterday in the class two-A boys soccer state tournament 4-0. Wahlert got Knoxville in a 2-0 hole six minutes into the game and the Panthers were unable to recover. Coach Jon Smith said after the first six minutes the team settled down and played well, it was just Dubuque Wahlert had too many weapons. Knoxville finishes the season with an 11-and-seven record.
