Despite mother nature raining on their plans, a local 4-H club will be able to make a large donation to a foundation aimed at curing childhood cancer after their successful fundraiser this weekend.  The Whitebreast Beaver 4-H club and Little Beavers Cloverkids held their 2nd annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand Friday and Saturday and were able to raise $700 to help fight cancer.  4-H member Tierney Heffron says they had an especially great start Friday until the rain started but overall people were very generous.  Heffron says she was pleased with the results of the fundraiser and is already looking into more opportunities to hold their next lemonade stand.
