Have we mentioned it’s been a good spring for Central College women’s track and field standout Jill Ziskovsky? On the heels of receiving the Recognition of Achievement in Speech Communication Award from the Iowa Communication Association, the senior, multi-event specialist for the Dutch has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America women’s track and field & cross country squad.

A double major in communication and Spanish, Ziskovsky carries a 3.95 GPA and was named to the magazine’s second team. At the NCAA Division III Championships at the end of May, Ziskovsky placed fifth in the heptathlon, earning All-America honors for the third time. She is the 47th student-athlete at Central College to receive the honor, and the first since 2007.
