A public hearing and subsequent consideration on a resolution authorizing up to $4.8 million in Sewer Revenue Capital Loan Notes is among the items on the agenda for this week’s Pella City Council meeting. The Sewer Revenue Bonds are linked to a large-scale upgrade of the city’s sanitary sewer system in accordance with mandates handed down from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

In other business, the Pella City Council will also address the first reading of an ordinance amending sign regulations and will consider a package of resolutions pertaining to wages and benefits for city employees. The Pella City Council meets Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
