Republican candidate for governor Bob Vander Plaats will make a visit to Pella Wednesday evening. The former high school principal and current CEO of MVP Leadership in Sioux City is among three frontrunners for the Republican nomination to face incumbent Governor Chet Culver in the November elections.

Vander Plaats’ last campaign visit to the Tulip City came on February 6th. Bob Vander Plaats will speak to the public on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Joan Kuyper Farver Auditorium at the Pella Community Center.
