State Fair Express Will Make Stops in Marion County

Marion County residents who plan to check out the Iowa State Fair this August can hop on a luxury motor coach and not have to worry about driving to Des Moines.  The State Fair Express provides riders with roundtrip transportation, fair admission, a bottle of water, coupon book and daily program map.  The express will pick up and drop off in Knoxville August 16th and Pella the 17th.  Fairgoers will arrive at Gate 15 near the north lot around 10am and the motor coach departs the fairgrounds at 5pm.

Knoxville - August 16th @ Walmart – 9:45am – $23 for adults/$19 for children age 5-11
Oskaloosa – August 17th @ Walmart – 8:00am – $26 for adults/$22 for children age 5-11
Pella – August 17th @ Fairway – 8:30am – $26 for adults/$22 for children age 5-11
Monroe - August 17th @ Casey’s – 8:45am – $27 for adults/$23 for children age 5-11
Prairie City - August 17th @ True Value – 9:00am – $27 for adults/$23 for children age 5-11
Chariton - August 17th @ Hy-Vee – 9:00am – $22 for adults/$18 for children age 5-11

Reservations can be made by calling Windstar Lines at 888-494-6378 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Payment must be made in full at the time of reservation.

Reservations can be made up to one week prior to departure. No refunds will be issued. The State Fair Express runs rain or shine.

A minimum of 30 people must book for the trip to run, cancellation of the trip will occur 7 days prior to departure and you will be notified by Windstar Lines if this occurs. If the trip is cancelled refunds will be given.
