While many fans in Knoxville are celebrating a ninth trip to the state baseball tournament…fans can celebrate that fact the Panthers earned four team state tournament bids this season. The Boys Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Boys Soccer, and Baseball all made the state tournament and not to mention the numerous individuals that made the state track and field meet.

Knoxville Athletic Director Randy Wilson says he won’t mind a bit hanging state tournament banners in gym and hope to continue that trend in the future. In related news, Knoxville is selling State Tournament Baseball T-Shirts today. Fans can drop by the high school from 7:30 to 1:30 and order in person. The Shirts are $15 each and come in youth to adult sizes 5XL. Shirt pick up is Monday at the high school from 3-6pm. Wilson also said there will be no pre-sale of state tournament tickets, all fans must get their tickets at the gate Monday when they arrive for the game.
