A Pella bookstore has volunteered to serve as a collection point for those wishing to send cards and condolence messages to the families of the two boys who drowned on July 14th at the Pella Aquatic Center. Rosa Veenstra, owner of Gosselink’s Christian Book Store, says a customer approached her about establishing a location where local residents could leave cards to be sent to the families of Gael Chrispin and Nehmson Sanon – whose families live in the Kansas City area. Veenstra adds that anyone wishing to send a card will need to act quickly, though. Services for the two teens are being held Saturday.
