The peak in-flow and water elevation at Lake Red Rock may not be as high as initially forecast, but the lake is certainly on the rise. The latest figures from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers show the in-flow of water into the reservoir peaking at well over 70,000 cubic feet per second and the lake’s elevation reaching close to 775 feet by the weekend, before gradually receding again. Those figures will likely change, though, as rain continues to be in the forecast through Friday. As of Tuesday afternoon, the water level at Lake Red Rock was over 773 feet and expected to increase nearly one foot by Wednesday.
