Well-established Iowa author Zachary Michael Jack will be making a visit to the Pella Public Library later this month as part of a statewide tour to share his latest book – which is based in a nearby small town. Titled What Cheer: A Love Story, the fictional work centers on romance and courtship in the rural areas of the state; something Jack says is disappearing as the state’s young people move out of the state or to urban areas.

Zachary Michael Jack will read from his new book on Monday, July 26th at 2:30 p.m. at the Pella Public Library. Jack will also be at The Next Chapter book store in Knoxville that evening at 7:00 p.m.
