The Knoxville Baseball Squad is headed to the class 3A State Tournament for the 9th time in team history after the Panthers defeated Mount Pleasant last night in a sub state game 7-2. Knoxville was able to get three runs in the 2nd inning and five more in fifth to get the win. Knoxville is now 24-9 on the season and has earned the number one seed in the state tournament. The Panthers will play Independence on Tuesday at noon in a first round game. You will be able to hear the play-by-play on KNIA/KRLS. Also, the P-C-M baseball squad has also made the state tournament in class 2A and will take on Davis County in the first round Monday night.
