The Knoxville City Council approved several purchases at their meeting last night. Those include a digital video system to be used in the new patrol car for the Knoxville Police Department, a Knox-Box Rapid Entry System which will be purchased through the Fire Department’s Memorial Fund and four new treadmills and a cardio theater system for the Knoxville Recreation Center. Also approved at the meeting was the reappointment of Jeff Lebeck to the Airport Commission and Fay Woody and Myriam Maldonado to the Library Board of Trustees.
