Charles City plated four runs in the second and erupted for eight in the third and ended Knoxville’s baseball season yesterday 12-1 in a game that ended with the ten run rule enforced. Nothing seemed to go right for Knoxville as the game was delayed an hour due to rain…then during the third inning another half hour rain delay occurred. The Panthers were able to get a run in the fifth inning when Eric Jones came home on a passed ball. Knoxville ends its season at 25-10 and will return all but three players for next season.
