With hundreds of visitors from around the world expected next month for the 50th Anniversary of the Knoxville Nationals, the Chamber of Commerce is organizing a neighborhood clean up to make sure things are in tip top shape for our guests. Volunteers will be supplied with gloves, trash bags and weed killer and will be focusing on sidewalks, streets and alleys in the downtown area. Chamber Board of Directors member Todd Chambers says it’s important for residents to take pride in our community and do what we can to provide an inviting downtown area for visitors to enjoy. The group will meet in the parking lot on the corner of First and Main streets at 8am Saturday.
