Even with continued rains this week, the latest forecast for Lake Red Rock is for water levels to drop and the rate of water flowing in to the reservoir to slow down. As of 5:00 a.m. Thursday, the water level had dropped three inches in the past 24 hours to around 778.38 feet, while the in-flow had decreased to 45,000 cubic feet per second. According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the out-flow at the Red Rock Dam will remain at 51,000 cubic feet per second for the next several days.
