Even with a slow increase of in-flow at Lake Red Rock in the forecast for next week, the reservoir’s level is not expected to rise in the near future. That’s according to the latest figures from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which are expecting the water elevation at Lake Red Rock to continue to decrease, after cresting near 774 feet on Thursday. The in-flow rate is holding steady near 33,000 cubic feet per second, while out-flow at the Red Rock Dam remains at, or just below, 50,000 cubic feet per second. The lake elevation is forecast to dip below 773 feet by mid-morning Saturday.
