Due to hot, mostly sunny weather and lower rainfall amounts than expected, the water elevation at Lake Red Rock appears to have crested earlier – and at a lower level – than expected. With a high in-flow rate no longer in the forecast for the weekend, it appears that the lake’s elevation topped out near 774 feet and is anticipated to begin receding again in the coming days. Out-flow at the Red Rock Dam is expected to remain at or near 50,000 cubic feet per second for the foreseeable future.
