[simage=3370,200,y,left] The Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted the South Central Iowa Drug Task Force in an investigation that lead to the arrests of six individuals who face several drug charges in Creston last week.  Shaun Ray Sanden, David Scott Miller and Thomas Donald Lewis were charged with pseudoephedrine purchase violation and possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, which is a class D felony.  Pamela Dean Claiser was charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of a precursor to manufacture a controlled substance.  Amy Lynn VanScoy was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription medication, possession of a precursor with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and Michael Ohara Sherrod was charged with pseudoephedrine purchase violation and possession of marijuana.  The South Central Iowa Drug Task Force consists of 10 counties including Union, Ringgold, Clarke, Decatur, Lucas, Wayne, Monroe, Appanoose, Madison and Marion Counties.  The Creston Police Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics and Iowa Counter Drug Task Force also assisted in the investigation.
