An extra-inning loss to Carlisle on Friday night ended the season for a much-improved Pella baseball team, and now – for the first time since practices began in May – there is no next game for the 23 members of the Varsity squad to look forward to.

Pella Head Baseball Coach Aaron Reasland said after the hard work put in this season, its hard for him and members of the team to let go of the game for the year, but adds that they’re finding a way to put the whole season in perspective.

The Little Dutch finished the baseball season with an 11-17 mark, more than double their win total from the previous season.
