The Knoxville Pocket Park is officially open for residents to enjoy. Park Designer Harv Sprafka tells KNIA/KRLS news while mowing the grass at Brooks Garden Thursday afternoon he realized things seemed ready and thought why not open it up to the public for the holiday weekend. He says the caution tape and sticks that once blocked off the park have been removed, and the trash receptacles and three new park benches have been added as well. Sprafka welcomes all residents to come enjoy the park and reminds the community that the dedication celebration will be held July 24th.
