[simage=3232,200,y,right] National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductee Rich Vogler will be honored at this month’s “Sprint Car 101” third Thursday series. Vogler is a two time United States Auto Club national sprint car champion and was inducted into the hall of fame in 1992. Vogler passed away in July of 1990 while leading a sprint car race at the Salem, Indiana Speedway. In addition to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame, Vogler is also a member of the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame and will be inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of American in August. The “Salute to Rich Volger” “Sprint Car 101” event will be held Thursday at 7pm on the second floor of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum and is free and open to the public.
