A gradual decline in the in-flow of water to Lake Red Rock, and a fairly steady out-flow mean that the lake’s elevation is expected to decline fairly swiftly over the next two weeks. The latest data from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports an in-flow of roughly 28,000 cubic feet per second; while out-flow is slowly tapering down, but remains near 49,000 cubic feet per second.

The lake’s elevation continues to decline at around seven to eight inches per day and is expected to be around 774 feet on Thursday. That is still well above the average conservation pool elevation of 742 feet.
