The Marion County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution authorizing bids and set a public hearing in regards to the North Annex building remodel project at their meeting Monday morning. Tim Teig from Snyder and Associates presented the plans to the board that he says are approximately 99 percent complete. The board accepted the plans and set a public hearing for September 27th at which time a bid will be awarded for the project. The board also named Jake Grandia and Lori Jahner from the Auditor’s office as the liaisons to represent the county with the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool until the new Human Resources position is filled, at which time that person will assume these responsibilities.
