Former Governor Terry Branstad was in Pella Tuesday afternoon to launch the second week of his “Ready to Create Jobs” tour. The Republican gubernatorial candidate was joined by his running mate, Kim Reynolds, for his second economic development policy announcement, emphasizing a commitment to creating 200,000 jobs over five years.

In the previous week, Branstad launched his multi-week tour by announcing that he would scrap the Iowa Department of Economic Development and replace it with a public/private partnership, if elected Governor.
