Former Governor Terry Branstad will be in Pella Tuesday afternoon to launch the second week of his “Ready to Create Jobs” tour. The Republican gubernatorial candidate will be joined by his running mate, Kim Reynolds, for his second economic development policy announcement, emphasizing a commitment to creating 200,000 jobs over five years.

Last week, Branstad launched his multi-week tour by announcing that he would scrap the Iowa Department of Economic Development and replace it with a public/private partnership, if elected Governor. The news conference is open to the public and will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Vermeer Global Pavillion in Pella.
