The City of Pella will be offering two refund options to pool patrons who were unable to use their season passes for the 13 days that the Pella Aquatic Center was closed last month. Pella Administrative Services Director Jenny Hesseltine tells KNIA/KRLS News that the refund options are for pass-holders to have an extension for 13 days to be used at the indoor pool this fall, or to receive a monetary refund for the prorated value of the 13 days missed.

The prorated estimated refund for a family pass would be around $27.70, and individual pass refunds would be around $13.60. If every pass holder were to request the cash refund option, it would cost the City over $10,000. Those wishing to choose the option to extend their passes to the indoor pool must let Aquatic Center staff know of their choice by the last day of the summer swimming season, which is August 22. Those who do not request an extension by the date will be issued a check for the refund amount.

Anyone with questions my contact the Pella Aquatic Center at 628-1882.
