The Central College women’s soccer program recently added a new assistant coach, as former All-Iowa Conference player Katelin Gannon has been added to the staff. The 2008 graduate of Wartburg College was a conference first-team selection in 2006 and 2007, and also earned all-region honors in 2007 – when she led the Knights to the NCAA Division III tournament as a captain. Prior to joining the Central women’s soccer program, Gannon helped coach at numerous clinics and was an assistant girls’ soccer coach at Cedar Falls High School. The Dutch struggled in the 2009 season, winning just one of nineteen games and going winless in the Iowa Conference.
