Knoxville’s own art gallery is having their grand opening today. Art 101 has been stocked with a variety of paintings, sculptures, drawings, jewelry, pottery and photographs and is ready to open their doors full time. The Knoxville Chamber Ambassadors will officially welcome the gallery to the area with a ribbon cutting at 1pm this afternoon, followed by meet and greets with the artists throughout the day. The festivities continue through the weekend with art demonstrations on tomorrow and a chance to work with clay for free on Sunday. Art 101 is located one block east of the square in Knoxville at 109 South Fourth Street.
