The Knoxville City Council acknowledged the certifications of four new reserve police officers at their meeting last night. Theresa Rowland, Robert Wilt, Jr, Sheldon Davids and Bradley Thomas have all received state certification that tests them on a variety of areas including criminal law, haz mat awareness, patrol techniques and traffic direction. Police Chief Dan Losada says he is very thankful and proud of the reserve officers in Knoxville and says his department could not survive without them. Especially during busy times such as the upcoming Knoxville Nationals.
