A Knoxville man was arrested last week after he attempted to sell drugs to a task force officer. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS news the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force was working at the Knoxville Raceway Thursday during Nationals when 21 year-old Matthew Choung Yang attempted to sell marijuana to an officer. Yang was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. He was booked into the Marion County jail and held on a $5,000 bond with a preliminary hearing set for August 20th at 1:30pm in the Marion County Courthouse.
