The Pella Christian volleyball kept its momentum rolling last night, as the Lady Eagles cruised to their second straight win with a 3-0 blitz of Winterset. The Lady Eagles held the Huskies to scores of 20, 12 and 20 in the wins. Pella Christian Head Coach John Evenhouse said the team was very consistent offensively, despite Winterset consistently finding ways to dig the Eagles’ attacks.

Offensively, Jenna Horstman’s 15 kills led the way for Pella Christian, and Sarah Faber dished out 20 assists. Jasmin Schelhaas had a team-high 3 aces from the service line. Defensively, Pella Christian got a huge night out of Meredith Fopma, who recorded 26 digs in the three games, while teammate Paige Zylstra played strong at the net with 4 blocks.

The Lady Eagles are back in action tomorrow in a tournament at Ames.
