Pella High’s Brooke Fessler has been selected by the American Volleyball Coaches Association to the 2011 High School All American watch list. The watch list is compiled by AVCA staff from around the country and the top 48 players from that list will be selected to be first and second team All Americans with the top 24 players playing in the Under Armour high School All American matches in Kansas City December 18th before the NCAA Division One semifinals matches. Fessler, who will be a senior setter for Pella this season is already the schools all time career assists leader with over 3000 and has led the state the last two seasons in assists per game, and was named to the IGCA and Des Moines Register First Team All State teams last fall. Fessler has committed to play for the University of Northern Iowa in 2011.
