Pella Regional Health Center was recently announced as one of two recipients of small health care provider quality improvement grants. The $93,331 grant was distributed from the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Lisa Schwenk, Public Relations Manager at Pella Regional Health Center says the grant is the first year of what could potentially be a three year grant cycle worth nearly $259,000 combined. The funding will help Pella Regional to implement an electronic patient registry system to help patients with chronic diseases to monitor their care.
