Pleasantville’s Schletzbaum Earns Academic All-State In Baseball

A local athlete was recently selected to the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Academic All-State Baseball Team. Pleasantville’s Jacob Schletzbaum was the selected to the First Team Academic All-State by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association, which consisted of 20 players. To be eligible, player must be a senior with a average A-C-T score of 29, a grade point average of 3.98, and in the top seven percent of their class. Schletzbaum was a pitcher for the Trojans, he went 5-4 on the season with 59 strikeouts and had an E-R-A of 3.24.
