The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session this evening. Items on the agenda include recognition of employees Dick Schrad and Patrick Murphy for 5 and 10 years of service respectively, consideration of a city disaster proclamation, consideration of support for the U.S. highway 63 designation as part of the Iowa Commercial Industrial Network and National Highway System, approval of a proposal for engineering services for the 2011 equalization basin project and approval of a resolution in regards to the city’s local bidder preference policy. The meeting will take place at 6:15pm in the council chambers of the Knoxville City Hall.
