Area residents are invited to a free event this weekend to tour some of the finest family farms in south-central Iowa. Farm Crawl 2010 will take place Sunday and gives attendees an opportunity to tour seven area farms, visit the animals, meet the famers, sample the goods and purchase locally grown and produced products. Included in the tour this year is Blue Gate Farm, Coyote Run Farm, Dan-D Farm, Pierce’s Pumpkin Patch, Reicharts Dairy Air, Schneider Orchard and White Breast Pottery and Weaving. The event will take place Sunday from 11am-5pm and is free and open to the public.
