Marion County will get treated to some beautiful birds this fall. Marla Mertz, Marion County naturalist told KNIA/KRLS News that many beautiful white birds will be migrating south and stopping in Marion County on the way. The birds include Pelicans, Snowy Egrets and Great Egrets. Mertz said that the birds are heading to Mexico and South America.
