The Central College men’s soccer team wasted no time finding the net, scoring three goals in the first half to beat Grinnell College 3-1 Wednesday for its sixth consecutive win. Senior forward Brett McKenzie scored his team-high sixth goal of the season Central outshot the Pioneers 12-4 in the first half. The 6-1 Dutch host Buena Vista Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Iowa Conference opener for both teams.

Freshmen forwards Alayna Bailey and Julie Wunder scored their season first goals to lead the attack but it wasn’t enough as the Central College women’s soccer team fell 5-2 to William Penn Wednesday. The Dutch are 0-6 and open Iowa Conference play at home Saturday against Buena Vista at 4 p.m
